Holiday Celebration During Crisis (Or How I’m Making Everyone Dress Up For Passover Seder πŸ™„πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ)

Passover is less in a week from now and we just got the news that we need to stay in quarantine until the end of April (and if to be honest, even if it wasn’t the latest update from President Trump, we were still in self-isolation because we are seeing so many people who don’t follow the orders).

That means that the big seder (Passover eve dinner) we were planning on? The one with our friends and family, with all the fancy food, salads, laughing and desserts? That’s all canceled. Less food, fewer desserts (imagine a sigh of relief on my face now lol πŸ˜‚ I’ll finish this shelter in place a 100lb more πŸ™ˆπŸ˜«) but with all the laughter, the odd habits from home, the songs and YES! The outfits. This is a high holiday in the Jewish tradition, and I will make sure it will be celebrated properly.

We normally wear something white that day, but this year I will make sure the white is extra tidy for my entire family. Imagine a cute white top with wide pants, a comfy white blouse and yellow-gold skirt for my daughter, a funky white t-shirt and a jacket paired with white shorts for my son, and my very handsome husband in a button-up shirt and never-been wear Zara slim gray pants. Yep! I imagined that all lol!πŸ˜‚πŸ€©

Hope you will celebrate YOU, your family and your FREEDOM this upcoming holiday!

Happy Passover & Easter y’all. If you have a special holiday this month let me know in the comments how you are going to celebrate it πŸ˜‡
